First Baptist Perry | Summer Position

OverviewFirst Baptist Perry is seeking a Student Ministry Worship Intern to serve alongside our student ministry for the summer. This intern will lead worship for student gatherings and intentionally invest in our current student worship team with the goal of helping them grow in both skill and leadership.

The heart of this role is not just to lead worship well, but to equip and develop a student-led worship team so they can confidently function on their own after the internship concludes.

Primary ResponsibilitiesLead worship for student ministry gatherings (primarily Wednesday nights)Serve with the worship team during Sunday services as neededMentor and develop student musicians and vocalistsHelp establish sustainable systems for:

Running effective rehearsalsCreating worship set listsTeam communication and schedulingPreparing spiritually and musically for servicesPartner with the Student Pastor and Adult Lead Team to support the overall vision of student ministryModel Christlike character, humility, and a heart for discipleship
