About FBCnlFBCnl is a gospel-centered church (SBC) averaging 400 in weekly worship. Our mission is to make disciples who know Jesus and make Him known in our community and beyond.

The RoleWe are seeking a full-time Pastor of Students to lead student ministry (grades 7–12) and lead people to take next steps in our discipleship pathway. Approximately 75% of this role will focus on student ministry, with the remainder on discipleship across the church. The pastor will also serve on the preaching team, preaching 4–6 times annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow student ministry through weekly gatherings, retreats, and discipleship (75% of role).
• Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer leaders who invest in students.
• Partner with parents as the primary disciple-makers of their students.
• Champion the discipleship pathway and help connect people into Next Step groups and DGroups.
• Preach 4–6 times annually in Sunday morning worship.
• Serve as part of the pastoral team, supporting the Lead Pastor and elders.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to live as His disciple.
• Meets the biblical qualifications of an elder (1 Tim 3:1–7; Titus 1:6–9).
• Agreement with FBCnl's statement of faith and mission.
• Strong leadership, relational, and organizational skills.
• Ability to preach and teach biblically and effectively.
• Experience in leadership of a growing student ministry.
• Bachelor's degree required. Seminary preferred.

Compensation

• Compensation commensurate with experience.
