Our church in Eldorado, Texas is prayerfully seeking a full-time Student Pastor who has clearly received a call to ministry, specifically to students. The Student Pastor will be responsible to the Senior Pastor for developing, leading, and promoting a vibrant and Christ-centered student ministry.

Eldorado is a small 2A town in West Texas with a strong, supportive community. Our town is deeply invested in its youth. We are blessed with an active Young Life ministry and a ministerial alliance of local churches that work together across denominations to serve students through community-wide efforts such as Vacation Bible School and other outreach events. This is a unique opportunity to minister in a community that genuinely supports and values its young people.

This position includes church-provided housing and insurance benefits. A part-time/bi-vocational arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.

Principal FunctionThe Student Pastor will lead the church's ministry to students (grades 6–12), equipping them to know Christ, grow in their faith, and serve others.

Principal ResponsibilitiesThe Student Pastor will:

Plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate the student ministry program.Work with volunteers to develop a ministry that leads students to salvation through Jesus Christ and disciples them in their faith.Plan and lead activities that foster spiritual growth, including retreats, camps, conferences, mission trips, fellowships, and outreach events.Coordinate student ministry efforts with the church's music and fellowship programs.Promote consistent outreach in cooperation with the church's overall mission.Assist in preparing and administering the annual student ministry budget.Stay informed of current curriculum, ministry resources, and effective methods for student discipleship.Provide spiritual guidance and counsel to students.Maintain personal contact with students and families through visits, school campus involvement, and attendance at school events.Work alongside other churches in Eldorado to minister to students and encourage their involvement in a local church.
