Job Overview
The Teaching Pastor will serve alongside and be accountable to the existing team of elders, focusing primarily on preaching, teaching, and equipping the church through faithful exposition of Scripture. The Teaching Pastor will collaborate with the elders and staff to shepherd the congregation, support Gospel Community leaders, and help cultivate a culture of discipleship and grace.
Job Description
An ideal candidate has experience serving in an elder-led church. They should feel comfortable leading Immanuel's preaching and teaching ministry while overseeing the church's day-to-day operations. This candidate should have a shepherd's heart and be eager to live in genuine community with the Immanuel church family. This candidate should be passionate about leading Immanuel Church in fellowship with a group of elders living to make the real Jesus known in Birmingham and beyond.
