Fundraising Missionary Position
- Oversee and manage the Vocational Education program. This may include changing aspects of it as needed to better meet the needs of the children
- Complete reviews for individual children and document their progress
- Teach children or inform teaching staff of codes of conduct, program explanation and participation expectations (see corresponding documents and policies as needed)
- Help the teenagers and their mentor parents manage money-tracking worksheets
- Provide education and training for the Voc. Ed. Program to staff members who work with children (mentor parents, Caregivers, Ranch director and teachers)
- Conduct regular evaluations of work ethic and responsibilities of each individual child. Share your evaluations with mentor parents, Ranch Director, and any other staff members it may affect
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations of each child's work ethic and hours
- Maintain status as a full-time fundraising missionary
- Pursue personal spiritual growth
Job Description
World Gospel Outreach is looking for the right person to join our team as the Vocational Education (Voc Ed) Coordinator at Rancho Ebenezer and Ebenezer Academy in Honduras. For youth aged 10-18 living at the Ranch and attending the school, this person will guide them towards their future careers. This role is meant to help prepare children to enter the workforce in Honduras after graduation. The Voc. Ed. Coordinator will work in tandem with the Ranch Director, CS Manager, teaching staff, Mentor Parents, Caregivers and others involved in childcare to ensure each child is receiving the guidance they need. The Voc. Ed. Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and systems to encourage good work ethic and money management in the children. They will also be responsible for encouraging and teaching good work habits and workplace behavior.
