New Life Fellowship (https://www.nlfofgraham.com) of Graham, WA, seeks a full-time Associate Pastor to oversee the worship and youth ministries. We are a conservative Baptist church affiliated with Venture Church Network (https://venturechurches.org/). Our mission is to see our neighbors and the nations come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are a Bible-believing, gospel-preaching, missions-minded church that is elder-led, deacon-served, and member-mobilized. Our church is located in the beautiful state of Washington, within view of majestic Mount Rainier.
We are located in a semi-rural area, close enough to the "creature comforts" of life while also being far enough off the beaten path. Drive one direction and you quickly find yourself in the hustle-and-bustle of city life, but drive the other direction and you suddenly find yourself out in the peace and quiet of God's creation. On any given day, you can enjoy time on the beach (about 2 hours away), take a ferry to explore one of the many islands in the Puget Sound, or take a hike in Mt. Rainier National Park. Outdoor opportunities abound.

Summary
New Life Fellowship of Graham is currently seeking a Worship and Youth Pastor to join its staff. Our purpose is to cultivate a ministry based upon the Bible that equips the saints to glorify God by worshiping him rightly and to accomplish his Great Commission by making disciples who lead others to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Job Description
The Worship and Youth Pastor is one who is gifted by God and called to local church ministry. He will directly oversee both the worship and youth ministries of the church. Regarding youth ministry, the ideal candidate must be gifted in working with Junior and Senior High students through discipleship, evangelism, and building strong relationship with the students' parents. He will also work closely with our Children's Ministry Director in order to maximize our church-wide ministry to families. He must have a passion for the Word of God and a desire to proclaim it with conviction, confidence, and clarity, helping the youth (and their families) toward greater spiritual growth. Regarding worship ministry, the ideal candidate must be gifted to lead the church in musical worship. He must be able to recruit, train, coach, and minister to others who serve alongside him in music ministry. He will work alongside the Senior Pastor in planning and coordinating the weekly worship service (and other special services). He will work closely with the Senior Pastor to develop worship services that support and enhance the message of the week. The Worship and Youth Pastor will be accountable to the Senior Pastor and the Board of Elders.
General Qualifications
● Demonstrated record of conformity to Biblical requirements as found in 1 Timothy 3; Titus 1; and 1 Peter 5
● Willingness to minister in a semi-rural setting that draws from numerous community areas
● Aligned with our church doctrine as set forth in our doctrinal statements
● Aligned with our church polity (a plurality of elder leadership, with the Senior Pastor as elder and ex officio member of all areas of ministry).
● Must become and remain a member of New Life Fellowship Church of Graham.
● Must demonstrate the posture of a humble, teachable, learner that wants to be discipled by the pastoral/elder team.
● Functions as a servant in the church, being available with weekly office hours.

● (Preferred) Has or is in the process of completing a Certificate or Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies
● (Preferred) Previous experience as Worship and/or Youth Pastor.
Compensation & Benefits
The Youth and Worship Pastor will be classified as a full-time employee, with a total package of $85,000-$95,000 (dependent upon experience). Benefits offered will be consistent with the current policy for insurance, paid time off (PTO) and holidays. This is a minimum 40 hour per week position.
