Job Overview

The Redeemer Apprenticeship for Ministry Program (RAMP) is a one-year apprenticeship program in New York City for Christian college students or recent graduates who want to discern if church-based ministry is their vocation. ‍ RAMP is a collaboration between Redeemer Downtown, Redeemer Lincoln Square, and Redeemer West Side, in partnership with Redeemer City to City, which consists of coursework, character and spiritual formation, Gospel application, and first-hand ministry experience, all within an urban context.

Position Overview

As a Worship Arts Apprentice in the RAMP program, you will serve with the Worship Arts team to develop practical skills in leading worship, planning creative elements, and supporting the musical and artistic life of the church. This apprenticeship is for a Christian college student or recent graduate passionate about worship, creativity, and gospel‑centered artistry in a local church environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly worship planning, rehearsals, and service execution alongside worship leaders.
• Help coordinate musicians, vocalists, and technical teams for Sunday services and special events.
• Contribute creatively to worship set lists, liturgical arts, and collaborative artistic elements.
• Support production, media, and audiovisual aspects of worship gathering when needed.
• Engage in the RAMP training curriculum, 1:1 coaching, and cohort discussions with peers and leaders.

Qualifications

• Active Christian committed to spiritual growth and the gospel mission of the church.
• Musical and artistic skills (instrumental or vocal) with a willingness to grow and learn.
• Rising college junior, senior, or recent graduate with recommendation from home church.
• Team‑oriented attitude and desire to serve through creativity and collaboration.
