In support of this, the worship leader will plan services alongside the Lead Pastor, organize musicians and arrangements, and collaborate with the A/V team as needed to help carry out the vision and flow of each service.

Job Summary

Eastside desires a worship culture that is both rooted and relevant, anchored in historic Christian liturgy and rich hymnody, while also incorporating biblically faithful contemporary songs that help our congregation sing with clarity, depth, and joy.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Serve as Sunday Morning Worship Leader, modeling joyful, humble, and gospel-centered leadership both on and off the platform. (60%)

2. Organize and prepare for Sunday morning worship in coordination with pastoral leadership (20%)

3. Build and lead a worship team of volunteers from within the church (15%)

4. Various other duties, meetings, and communication (5%)

• Worship leading experience preferred
• Excellent musical ability—both instrumentally and vocally
• Highly organized, responsible, and creative
• Openness to diverse, biblical expressions of worship, with a readiness to yield personal style preferences for the sake of unity and mission
