Carrolls Creek Baptist Church is looking for a part-time worship minister to lead our congregation in singing on Sunday mornings. We are a multigenerational church with a blended worship style of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. Experience directing a choir, playing guitar/piano, and using ProPresenter software is preferred.
A brief schedule and job description are provided below:
Typical Schedule (Flexible depending on candidate)
Sunday – 9:00 am worship rehearsal / 9:30 am Sunday school / 10:45 am -12:00 pm worship service
Monday – 10:30 am – 12:00 pm staff meeting / optional lunch after
Wednesday – 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm practice with worship team and choir
Job Description
Plan weekly worship services and seasonal services (Christmas, Easter, etc.)– Coordinate with the pastoral team to organize all aspects of the flow of Sunday morning worship
– Communicate weekly with all those in the music and media ministry who have a part in the Sunday worship service
– Lead up-front singing and playing guitar/piano with the worship choir and accompanist team
– Be comfortable with singing a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs
– Demonstrate theological integrity by selecting songs that are aligned with God's Word and the theological convictions of CCBC
– Emphasize the voice of the congregation by selecting songs that are in a vocal range that encourages corporate worship
– Input lyrics, sermon points, videos, etc. into ProPresenter software for Sunday morning worship
– Be able to adjust the sound system mixing board as needed for balance
– Oversee the online streaming platform and volunteers
