Oversee and direct the Worship Arts MinistryProvide oversight and management to the Worship Arts DepartmentPlan and prepare worship services each weekPrepare printed Worship Guide for servicesLead worship services each weekLead weekly production meetings and quarterly planning meetingCoordinate worship plans with support staff (ie. Production/Communication)Recruit and mentor volunteer musicians, vocalists, and other team membersManage expenses within the approved annual budgetPlan and give oversight to special events, elements, and servicesLord's Supper (monthly)Christmas Concert (annually)Other worship services as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Affirm East Cooper Baptist Church's Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistentWilling to become a member of East Cooper Baptist ChurchBachelor's Degree (required)M.Div or MM (preferred)At least five years of experience in leading worshipProficiency in vocals and at least one instrumentAble to read and arrange musicProven leadership skills in team building and managementExperience with Planning Center, ProPresenter, and other similar softwareCommunication skillsCollaborative spiritHumility and a desire to serve othersOrganized and flexibleStrong interpersonal skillsVerbal communicationWritten communication
