Hoffmantown Church is searching for a Worship & Music Pastor who is more than a musician—a shepherd, leader, and worshipper first. You have a passion for guiding people into meaningful encounters with God and building a team that leads with excellence and authenticity.
What You'll Do
Plan and lead engaging, Christ-centered worship servicesRecruit, develop, and shepherd a worship team (choir, orchestra, vocalists, band, tech)Work closely with the Senior Pastor to align worship with the preaching visionCreate a culture of authentic worship, not performanceOversee audio/visual and production elementsHelp lead special services (holidays, events, etc.)Invest in the spiritual growth of your team and the church body
What You Bring
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a call to ministryAgreement with SBC doctrine and theology (fully qualified male related to 1 Tim. 3:2-7; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Titus 1:5-9)Musical expertise (vocals + at least one instrument preferred)Significant worship leading/conducting experienceStrong leadership skills with a servant's heart and collaborative spiritFamiliarity with tech/productionAbility to engage multiple generations in worship
