Youth & Family Pastor
Hope Fellowship Church – Jaffrey, NH
Overview
Hope Fellowship Church is seeking a qualified and called Youth & Family Pastor to lead and oversee our ministries from children through young adults. Hope Fellowship Church is a growing congregation of approximately 800–900 weekly attendees, with a strong emphasis on discipleship and next-generation ministry. This pastoral role is responsible for developing a clear, cohesive discipleship pathway that partners with families and equips the next generation to know, grow, and serve Christ.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pastoral leadership for children's, youth, and young adult ministries
- Preach and teach regularly in youth and church-wide settings
- Develop and implement a comprehensive discipleship strategy aligned with the church's mission (Know, Grow, Serve)
- Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer leaders and ministry teams
- Partner with parents to equip them as the primary disciplers of their children
- Oversee curriculum, programming, events, and ministry environments
- Build relational connections with students and families through consistent presence and availability
- Collaborate with church staff to ensure alignment across all ministries
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to students and families
Qualifications
- Meets the biblical qualifications of an elder/pastor (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1)
- Demonstrates a clear calling to pastoral ministry, particularly to the next generation
- Strong commitment to expository preaching and biblical discipleship
- Alignment with Hope Fellowship Church's doctrine and mission
- Proven leadership ability with experience in ministry or a related field
- Excellent communication, relational, and organizational skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; MDiv or equivalent theological training preferred
- Experience in youth, family, or next-generation ministry strongly preferred
