Provide leadership to MaxLife and MaxLife Middle Student Ministries, leading volunteer teams in helping youth become fully alive and live as 3C Christ followers.

Job Description

1. Foster relationships with youth, parents and volunteers.

2. Oversee the weekly MaxOut program for Student Ministries (Grades 9-12).

• Work with the Family Ministries Director to choose curriculum.
• Schedule speakers, worship and small group leaders.
• Provide training & resources to small group leaders.
• Plan and implement games and activities.
• Prepare supplies for lesson response activities and games.
• Coordinate snacks & meals.

3. Oversee MaxLife Middle

• Develop weekly lessons to help each student take next steps in their spiritual growth, in accordance with the Family Ministries Discipleship Focus for meetings on Sunday mornings.
• Work with the Family Ministries Director to choose curriculum.
• Purchase and prepare lesson materials.
• Provide a smooth transition from Kids Church to MaxLife Middle.
• Work with Family Ministries Director to plan and lead quarterly outings, activities and/or retreats.
• Work with Family Ministries Director to schedule speakers, worship and small group leaders.

4. Remain current on trends in youth ministry and teen culture

5. Implement Outreach programs for uninvolved Lifehouse youth and community youth.

6. Oversee service & missions opportunities for youth.

7. Oversee youth camps & retreats.

8. Regularly meet & partner with the Family Ministries lead team for consistency across age groups and programs.

9. Assist with Family Ministries events.

10. Use Lifehouse calendars and Trello to communicate schedule and event information.
