Wolfeboro Bible Church is a non-denominational, elder led congregation assisted by deacons & deaconesses. We are very baptistic in our policy and philosophy but technically we are not a part of any denomination.

Ministry mission statement: Making & Maturing Disciples (Matt. 28 & Eph. 4)

Ministry distinctives: Expository preaching /Relational Disciple making/Servant Leadership

We tell people these three distinctives are our three pillars for our church life.

Replant began in 2015 with 15 people and an existing building. The past 4 years we have seen growth to 150-160 but need another staff elder/pastor to continue effectively discipling and expanding our ministry in the community.

Pastoral Job Description: Youth & Families Pastor

WBC is seeking to hire an additional paid elder/pastor for the following areas.

1. Assisting the Lead Pastor/ Mentoring relationship (II Tim. 2:2)

2. Lead and develop children's ministries through young married demographic

3. Assist the Lead Pastor in Developing an Internship & Pastoral Residency Program

Job Description

  1. Assisting the Lead Pastor/ Mentoring relationship

– Assist the Lead Pastor in every aspect of church life as a mentoring ministry (II Tim. 2:2).

  1. Lead and develop children's ministries through young married demographic

Our church has seen multiple new young adults and families the past two years and there is a need to provide discipleship, leadership and programs to continue establishing the church into a multi-generational church family. Here are some examples of ministries we desire to see begin.

* Children's Sunday School (educational ministry)

* Jr Church ministry

* Nursery ministry

* Small group ministries or bible studies to foster friendships and discipleship

* Awana ministry (or another midweek ministry to reach families)

* Vacation Bible Camp ministry (summer)

* Youth Group

* Quarterly Family fun nights (games & movie)

The Youth & Families Pastor is responsible to develop, oversee, disciple, train, recruit for these ministries which helps us accomplish or mission statement of ‘making & maturing disciples'.

  1. Assist the Lead Pastor in Developing an Internship & Pastoral Residency Program

We desire to train young pastors who want to plant churches or revitalize churches in New England.

An internship or residency program will also be used to hire additional pastors.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

* Undergraduate degree in related field, but our preference would be an earned MDiv.

* Previous experience with an internship or Residency program.

Personal Qualities:

* High initiative

* Pastoral love & patience for newer believers

These are necessary because there are not present ministries to manage but the potential is there with sufficient pastoral leadership.

Salary: $40,000-$50,000

This position will begin or can start as a bi-vocational position with the plan to become full-time with 2 years.

In some cases, a spouse may work as well and they can support themselves with both salaries, but we understand and would expect this pastor to need additional income and will support him in this endeavor until the church can support him full-time.
