Youth Pastor/LeaderReports To: PastorSchedule: Full-time (Typical work week is Sunday through Thursday)

OverviewThe Youth Pastor/Leader at Beech Street Baptist Church will shepherd students in grades 6–12, helping them know Christ personally, grow in their faith, and live out their calling to love God, love others, and live sent. This role will focus on teaching, discipling students, equipping volunteers, and creating a culture where students are connected both to Christ and to the larger church family.

ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all aspects of youth ministry (grades 6–12).

Provide leadership for Sunday morning Life Group hour and Wednesday night youth gatherings.

Teach Scripture faithfully and apply it to students' lives.

Disciple students in personal faith and equip them to live missionally.

Recruit, train, and shepherd adult volunteers serving in youth ministry.

Plan and lead youth events such as retreats, camps, Disciple Now (DNow), mission trips, and outreach activities.

Build connections with students through local schools, sports teams, and community youth ministries to reach those far from God.

Ensure youth ministry aligns with the vision and mission of Beech Street: Love God, Love Others, Live Sent.

Collaborate with the Pastor and staff team to avoid silo ministry and strengthen the overall body of Christ.Prepare and oversee an annual budget for ministry to students and families that is built upon an annual vision and focus for ministry. The annual budget will be prepared for the Budget Study Team of BSFBC and is subject to church approval.Continually work to improve and develop ministry/leadership skills through seminars, conferences, and other forms of continuing education.

QualificationsA personal relationship with Jesus Christ marked by humility, integrity, and evangelistic passion.

Clear calling and heart for reaching and discipling students.

Ability to lead relationally and build a team of volunteers.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ministry or schooling experience helpful but not required.

Alignment with the doctrine and mission of Beech Street Baptist.

CompensationFull-time position, compensation commensurate with experience.
