First Baptist Church in Rolla, MO. is seeking the next man God has called to shepherd our Youth. This is a full time position.

The Pastor of Youth at First Baptist Church Rolla will be responsible for coordinating and leading all functions of the youth ministry. This will include, but is not limited to:

Planning and coordinating youth worship services.Planning trips and outings to give opportunities for fellowshipWorking alongside the children's director to ensure a smooth relationship and transition for students as they begin to get closer to being in the youth ministry. Finding and training volunteers for the ministry.Building relationships with parents to work alongside them in the discipleship process of their teens. Develop youth as leaders in their community as believers. Implementing opportunities for the youth to be a functioning part of the current church.

The youth pastor will be a Christian man who is:

Called according to the qualities found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. A well rounded individual who can minister to different personalities that come with youth ministry. An active member of FBC Rolla who seeks to use his gifts in more than just the arena of youth ministry if desired. A team player who rejoices in the success of all ministries of FBC Rolla.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a ministry/theology field required, seminary preferred. 5 years of experience in ministry is preferred.

Expectations:

The youth pastor will have 4 working office days through the week. This can be negotiable in the case of youth events on weekends or in the evenings. The youth pastor will report to the Senior Pastor.The youth pastor will remain a faithful part of the church outside of just youth ministry.
