Youth Pastor to minister to students of 6th – 12th grades

Primary Responsibilities *provide teaching and discipleship to Wednesday night youth group (65+ attendance) and Sunday school (12+ attendance), including attending special events, outreach, and recruitment *teach the Bible faithfully and regularly in age appropriate settings *support parents in the spiritual formation of their children *assist in pastoral care for the church at large *plan and coordinate weekly gatherings *oversee events, camps, missions, and discipleships opportunities *invest time and encouragement in students by attending school and community activities and other events in which students are involved *participate in the youth committee for a small rural church (175+ attendance) Requirements *an abiding love for God modeled through prayer and Bible study *a call to youth ministry *some experience in youth ministry *be actively involved in a like-minded church *believe and practice consistents with the most current Baptist Faith and Message
