Jacobstown Baptist Church, located in Jacobstown, NJ, is a historic church that has been ministering to the surrounding community since 1767. We are a church that seeks to be formed and shaped by the word of God in all that we do, say, and think, while seeking to pass those values on to each coming generation. Our church’s purpose statement affirms the following: “We purpose to meet together to prayerfully equip and encourage believers of Jesus Christ, through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, to go and share Christ faithfully, while being conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ.” Our church family applies this purpose through our thriving AWANA program, young adult group, ladies groups and ministries, youth group, men’s breakfasts and meetings, and a variety of small groups throughout the year designed to support the spiritual growth of the congregation. We also have a long history of community outreach through programs such as our living nativity, Trunk or Treat, Easter Dessert Theater, Thanksgiving baskets, and a benevolent fund. Through our services and ministries, we desire to present the Lord in all His glory to everyone that comes through our doors. We desire for God’s glory to humble us and stoke our desire to dedicate our entire life to living in the light of the Gospel.
